Job Description
The key responsibilities of a Payroll Manager will include:
1. Managing the payroll function across 4 countries.
2. Processing payroll ensuring that employee salaries, benefits, overtime, and deductions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
3. Maintaining employee records and ensure financial confidentiality.
4. Generating reports: Create and share reports on payroll activity, especially for new hires and terminations.
5. Complying with regulations: Ensure that payroll practices comply with relevant laws and regulations, such as working hours and minimum wage.
6. Resolve payroll errors.
7. Pension management: ensuring the accuracy of pension deductions and payment reconciliations.
8. Monitor promotions, transfers, and terminations.
9. Completing all payroll journal entries at the end of each payroll period.
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Payroll Manager should have:
1. Strong experience working as an In-house Payroll Manager.
2. Implementation and process improvement knowledge.
3. Extensive knowledge of payroll software and MS Office.
4. Previous background in an accounts-based role (Desirable).
5. Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
6. Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation.
7. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
