Job Title: Bid Coordinator
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
We are looking for an organised, methodical, and self-motivated Bid Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role will play a key part in supporting the Bid Team, ensuring the timely submission and compliance of tenders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and check daily sources for new tender opportunities
2. Complete customer questionnaires and compliance documents with accuracy
3. Analyse client documents, debate requirements, and assess PQQ (Pre-Qualification Questionnaire) criteria
4. Maintain a central register of tenders and track submission outcomes
5. Ensure all policies remain current and coordinate with departments for certifications
6. Provide comprehensive administrative support, including meeting coordination, diary management, minute taking, and report collation
7. Support the Head of Bids & Tenders in formatting and compiling bid submission documents
Key Skills and Attributes:
1. Prior experience in a bid team is an asset but not essential, as training will be provided
2. Experience in project support or administrative roles
3. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
4. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
5. Ability to work flexibly and prioritize within tight deadlines
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach
7. Ability to use initiative and work independently
