This LGV Driver role is part of a team of drivers operating from the plant based in Felixstowe, Suffolk.

About the role:
As LGV Driver, you will be responsible for providing efficient and professional delivery of Lallemand / GB Ingredients products (block / cream / dry yeast) to our customers and service providers.
Key duties:
Be fully compliant with all driving regulatory, statutory and legal requirements.
Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene including all vehicle checks and reporting.
Load/Drive vehicle within the limit of the vehicle gross and axle weights shown on the plate of vehicle and ensure loads are secure prior to and during transit.
Ensure completion of all relevant paperwork and obtain a confirmation of delivery from customer/depot and give assistance where possible to maintain good relations.
Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the Logistics Department.
Drivers are required to assist the factory facility when on site and no driving is required when the weekly hours have not been fully utilised.
Skills and experience required:
Possess a current driving license and HGV driving License (minimum of 1 year), reporting any endorsements however obtained with a maximum of 6 points (No DR or DD codes)
Valid CPC card
Valid Digi Card

The LGV Driver role is full-time permanent position, working hours are 50 hours per week over 5 days in a 7-day week. Please note that this will involve some early starts, some weekend and bank holiday working and the occasional night away.
