Practice Type : Part of a group - the practice is due to embark on an exciting refurb and expansion of the practice in the next 9 months.
1. You will be supporting and working alongside their current team of 4 vets (one with a certificate in small animal medicine) and 4 nurses plus a fantastic practice manager and front-of-house team.
2. The team will continue to grow as they recruit for the expansion.
3. As well as cats, dogs, and rabbits they also see a variety of exotic cases with one of their vets studying for a certificate in exotic animal medicine.
Role : They are currently in the planning stages of the refurb and looking for an experienced Head Veterinary Nurse who can lead the nursing team and help them to transition smoothly into this new and exciting phase of the business.
Applicant Requirement:
4. They are actively seeking an experienced Head Veterinary Nurse who has previous experience managing nursing teams and who enjoys coaching and mentoring other nurses.
5. There is a lot of work to do for the refurb and expansion with the partner wanting to obtain PSS and cat-friendly accreditation.
6. They have an excellent practice manager and are seeking a Head RVN to work alongside her in managing the nursing team and who will enjoy the challenge of implementing appropriate clinical protocols and getting this achieved.
7. This is an incredibly exciting time for the business, and they are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic person to help move the business into a new phase.
Hours: This is a full-time role, offering flexible weekend/evening rota allowing for a good work-life balance.
Skills.Exp : They are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude, who is a strong leader that can manage the nursing team on a day-to-day basis, and who is keen to deliver clinical excellence.
Salary : They are offering a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 p/a depending on experience.
