A Regional Sales Manager is required for a hugely successful OEM of precision automated machinery solutions to the manufacturing industry. As the Regional Sales Manager, your primary focus is to increase market share in the area, whilst continuing to develop the reputation and company brand values.
The basic salary is negotiable for the right person, additional commission-based earnings, a company car with plug-in Hybrid option, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a private pension with up to 8% employer contributions, BUPA healthcare, Life Insurance, and a huge amount of ongoing training and personal development.
This will be a fully remote WFH position, and a laptop and phone are provided too.
Reporting to the MD, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for:
* Sales of brand new machinery across various forms of manufacturing industry
* Gathering market and customer information to analyse customer's needs
* Providing customers with detailed and accurate quotations
* Negotiating terms of sales and agreements and closing sales with customers
* Establishing, maintaining, and expanding the customer base
* Increasing business opportunities
* Developing strategies, forecasts, and pipelines of business
* Attending trade fairs, exhibitions, and promotional events
* Collecting customer feedback and market research
* Project management on all orders from inquiry through to final delivery and aftercare
Experience in a technical sales role is essential, with selling machine tools into the plastics industry being a huge advantage.
You will need a genuine interest in the manufacturing industry and the various sectors to understand who your target audience will be to aim our products at. Combining sales and customer service, you will be the ultimate partner for your customers and ensure that you and the business are foremost in their minds.
Flexibility towards frequent travel to the territory you’d look after is essential, as well as frequent travel to the HQ in the UK for product launches, demos, and customer open house events.
