About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our team at Wells & Co Managed. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to optimize stock control, food cost, and profitability.
* Oversee all food production, ensuring dishes are prepared to exceptional standards.
* Ensure the kitchen maintains impeccable hygiene and health and safety standards.
* Train and develop the kitchen team to deliver outstanding food quality and guest satisfaction.
* Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and high standards.
* Monitor and manage food and labor costs to achieve a strong food margin and labor within budget.
Requirements
* Minimum 18 months of experience as a Sous Chef in a fast-paced food operation.
* Proven ability to deliver exceptional results in a high-pressure environment.
* Strong leadership skills, with a passion for motivating and developing a team.
* Able to inspire and lead the kitchen team to achieve excellence.
