Edge Careers are working closely with a key client that’s looking to appoint a full time Groundworks & Civils Buyer. I encourage applicants to have a knowledge of groundwork and civil materials and to have already worked as a Buyer within the Construction Sector. In this role you will need to have great interpersonal skills that allow you to build good relationships, negotiate and procure goods/materials successfully. It’s key you have experience managing accounts/suppliers and understand the value for collaborating with site teams and management to provide the best possible service. You will be negotiating prices to procure goods and services. Co-Ordinating deliveries to site teams, dealing with purchase orders, invoice queries, collating with site teams to manage any documentation/material orders to make sure everything runs smoothly. Any experience in buying Plant/Tools would be beneficial and managing/setting up re-bates and overseeing group deals.
