Job summary To provide a comprehensive high quality Receptionist Service to the Tier4 staff at Parkview clinic. The post will be working in a fast-paced environment, which requires a calm but proactive approach with the ability to multi-task whilst being thorough. Telephone calls and enquiries form a large part of the role as does a high volume of standard administrative tasks. Attention to detail is paramount in this post as is the ability to prioritise workload. Main duties of the job To provide comprehensive reception and administrative duties for Parkview Clinic To attend to patients and visitors to the clinic both in person and on the telephone, promptly and courteously always To work under supervision and manage own workload To ensure patient/staff confidentiality is always maintained To provide cover and coordinate the day to day running of the reception area at Parkview Clinic ensuring that all patients and visitors are greeted in a friendly and professional manner and provided with a smooth and efficient service Take responsibility for the accuracy of patient data on the database amending details as required i.e. addresses, ethnicity codes etc Outcome contacts on the database To deal with general enquiries from patients, staff and visitors providing information as required. To ensure all calls are dealt with politely and efficiently and/or re-routed to other members of staff/wards within the clinic.
