We are looking for an IT Support professional to join our established IT Support team. We have an exciting mix of skills and technologies, so this is a great opportunity to gain experience in a busy and growing retail environment.
The right person will gain exposure to Active Directory, Azure, Enactor EPOS system, Exchange, multiple IT Security applications, O365, PowerShell, WAN and LAN networking, Windows Server, and a variety of other pieces of software (both externally and internally developed). They will work with 3rd parties and be required to oversee and assist in preparing and setting up new stores across some of our international store estate.
This is envisaged as a role for someone creative, intelligent, and self-disciplined. Ideally, the person will be looking to step up from an entry level role, or to gain more retail experience. We are looking for a candidate who wants room to grow their skills and knowledge, a hunger to perform at a high level, and the opportunity to be exposed to advanced systems and progress as they gain experience.
What you'll be doing
1. 1st and 2nd line telephone and email support to both shop staff and head office staff
2. Diagnosis of a variety of Incidents, followed by instituting workarounds to get the problem solved in the short term, then resolving fully with long-term fixes (both within the Team and in conjunction with Development/Infrastructure)
3. Logging all Incidents in our ticketing system, fully documenting the issue to help reduce repeated reports
4. Travel to new store openings to support our partners in setting up
5. Support new Joiners
6. Licence and hardware assignment
7. Install, maintain and support current and new future applications
8. Follow, support and contribute to policies, processes, and procedures
9. Prioritising and managing several open cases and mini projects at one time
10. Ensure appropriate standards and procedures are always adhered to
11. Escalation of Incidents and requests to relevant teams/departments
12. Basic Active Directory/Exchange Administration
13. Basic networking configuration and troubleshooting
14. Patching, hot fixes and virus updates
15. Assisting our IT Support Analysts with a variety of escalations
16. Assisting our IT Support Technicians with Service Requests as the business requires
17. Communicating with 3rd party suppliers
We'd love to meet someone with
1. Experience in IT Support role of at least 2 years
2. Experience working in a retail environment
3. Competent with Microsoft Windows 10 and Office
4. Knowledge in administering ADUC, Azure, Exchange, EPOS Systems, and BAU Windows Updates
5. Excellent team working skills
6. Clear and articulate telephone manner
7. Strong organisational skills and a logical approach to problem solving
8. Calm under pressure
9. Based in Australia or New Zealand
