An exciting new full-time chaplain post is now live with the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
The chaplaincy service in ABUHB is a department which is constantly looking for new and creative ways to provide spiritual and pastoral care.
The Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is commitment to ensure a high quality of care and support to patients and its workforce and the spiritual care service will strive to contribute to this priority.
Supporting staff in the workplace has been a regular feature of the chaplaincy service and the department is looking to build on our success with new ideas and projects.
You will have a high degree of self-awareness and a real aptitude for sensitively coming alongside all those who use and provide our Health Board services. You will be a reflective chaplaincy practitioner who constantly strives to improve your own practice and that of the chaplaincy team.
We are looking for applicants who are enthusiastic and motivated, who are ready to learn new skills and develop your own knowledge and understanding of spirituality in a healthcare setting. The chaplaincy service continues to be a resource of support to Health Board staff and we wish to strengthen and grow these services into the future.
Prospective candidates should be appropriately qualified and trained to work in the spiritual care arena.
Whilst we welcome applications from all and your application will be considered on individual merit, if you are offered a position and you require a Skilled Worker Certificate of Sponsorship, we will not be able to process your application to the final stage due Home Office eligibility.
