We are looking for additional talent to join our Brands License Team, and looking for an experienced Womenswear Buyer on a maternity cover basis with expert knowledge, passion for product and enthusiasm to succeed Buying With our online business constantly growing, Total Platform continuing to strengthen and our retail stores remaining distinguished for our customer base, our buyers have a big responsibility to create attractive and profitable product ranges across the business. They collaborate with our Designers, Merchandisers and Technologists to put together stylish new collections for every season. Your role We're excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and creative professional to join our team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of designing commercially successful ranges that align seamlessly with the licensor's vision. You'll have the chance to plan these ranges meticulously, considering sales data, price architecture, and brand DNA. Your keen eye for trends and data analysis will enable you to quickly identify and act on new opportunities. As a team leader, you'll effectively manage resources and workloads, ensuring your team remains motivated and focused. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with the license team and internal sourcing division to build strong relationships with the licensor and take ownership of the critical path. About you As a naturally influential leader, you’ll bring your entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on approach to assist with the administrative processes of buying. Your confidence and persuasive communication skills will enable you to present proposals effectively and garner support from colleagues and external brand partners. With extensive knowledge of current and potential market and fashion trends, you'll translate these insights into commercially inspiring ranges. You'll excel at building and maintaining productive relationships with suppliers and licensors, working collaboratively with merchandisers, designers, technologists, suppliers, and licensors to create a commercially successful range.
