These posts require working in the Laundry within the Care Home along with cleaning duties. Ostlers House Care Home – working 15 hours per week as required. Laundry Duties are washing drying and Ironing care home laundry and residents personal clothing. To follow all procedures in collection of soiled laundry from the units and return laundered clothes to the linen cupboards. To follow all health and safety procedures implemented in the laundry. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as all training is given, which will include working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate. The Person You will be required to attend a full days Induction Training before starting in post. Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
