We are seeking a dependable and skilled 7.5t Flat Bed Lorry Driver to join our logistics team. This role involves transporting parts, machinery, and equipment locally, with occasional deliveries across Ireland. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and secure transportation while consistently representing Mallaghan with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. Key Responsibilities: Safely transport engineering parts, tools, and equipment to and from designated local locations. Ensure all items are properly loaded, secured, and unloaded following safety protocols. Conduct vehicle checks before each trip and promptly report any maintenance issues. Maintain clear and accurate records of collections and deliveries. Communicate effectively with the logistics team / company staff to ensure smooth operations and address any delivery or collection challenges. Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company policies during all journeys. Uphold professionalism and provide courteous customer service when interacting with clients and suppliers. Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the assigned vehicle. Essential Criteria: Possess a full, clean driving licence (Class C or C1). Hold a CPC Driver Qualification Card and Digital Driver Card. Demonstrate proven experience as a professional driver. Maintain an excellent driving record with a strong understanding of road safety standards. Exceptional communication abilities coupled with a proven track record in delivering outstanding customer service. Desirable Criteria: Demonstrated experience in delivering large or specialized equipment efficiently and safely. Comprehensive knowledge of local and national road networks across Ireland to optimize routes and ensure timely deliveries.
