Mental Health Nurse Band 5 (3k Welcome Bonus)
Would you like to work in a caring friendly environment and make a difference to people's lives?
Are you a Registered Mental Health Nurse looking for a change? If so we have fantastic opportunities for you.
We are looking for experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses to join us. If successful, you will be involved with a wide multi-disciplinary team caring for adult inpatients.
You will care for your patients holistically, involving carers and relatives, and work alongside medical and therapies staff. You will be able to adapt quickly to changing situations and provide high-quality care to your patients.
We are keen to have staff working for us who are passionate about patient care and who are keen to be actively involved in service development.
Main duties of the job
As a Band 5 Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of shifts, medicine management, attending MDTs, ward reviews, liaising with other agencies, and primarily supporting service users with their recovery journey.
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and caring individual who has a strong desire to work with service users in a recovery-focused manner. We support newly qualified nurses/practitioners to attend the Newly Qualified Academy as part of preceptorship.
You will have the opportunity to work independently, but we come together by sharing our knowledge and respecting each other through effective communication. We encourage staff to develop within lead and link roles in particular areas of interest; just let the team know which areas you are invested in, and we can support you. The teams encourage an open forum for our staff to problem-solve and make changes to enhance the patient experience.
About us
Here at NSFT, we pride ourselves on being a welcoming, talented, friendly, and supportive team who like nothing better than sharing experiences and learning from each other. In addition to ongoing training and development opportunities, we are committed to providing an environment in which you can thrive.
Why work for us? We have challenges as a Trust, but we have ambitious aspirations, are pushing ahead with exciting transformation work, and we need dedicated individuals to support us on our journey. We have strong, established professional networks coupled with an exceptional leadership team who will ensure you are truly cared for and cared about.
Why Norfolk and Suffolk? The people here are warm and welcoming; you'll never be far from the beautiful coastline or Broads National Park. We're an hour and a half away from London and have an international airport in Norwich too. Our villages, towns, and cities are packed full of history, independent cafes, shops, and theatres. We have excellent shopping, dining, top-ranking schooling, and affordable house prices too.
