Harmony House is excited to announce that we are appointing a completely new board of trustees and we are looking for passionate and skilled individuals to join us. What difference will you make? You will be governing a well-established medium sized charity as it goes through a period of big change. What are we looking for? We are looking for skills and experience in any of the following - Business and Operations - Ofsted Experience - Safeguarding - Fundraising - Finance - Human Resources (HR) - Experience Working with the Elderly (e.g., GP, care home manager, or other roles involving significant face-to-face interaction with the elderly in the community) - Law - Prior Trustee or Charity Management Experience What will you be doing? Harmony House is getting ready to enter a new era. We'll be focussing on growth, modernisation and stabilising. We are especially interested in hearing from individuals in the Dagenham area or those with a strong understanding of the unique challenges facing our local community. We ask for your commitment to attend quarterly board meetings in person at our Dagenham office, as well as quarterly sub-committee meetings, which may be held in person or online. Additionally, we hope you can join us at a few events and other important dates throughout the year to support the work of Harmony House.
