Accounts Technician / Accounts Assistant (Part-Time)
Belfast (BT12)
Salary c.£25K – £28K FTE DOE
We are pleased to be working on behalf of a client with an immediate need for an experienced Accounts Technician / Accounts Assistant who can join their growing team on a Part -Time basis.
It is envisaged that the hours will be c.22.5hrs/week but this may fluctuate slightly
**This position offers mixed remote and office-based working**
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Purchase ledger – invoice entry, reconciliation of statements, supplier payments; investigate and resolve supplier queries.
2. Sales ledger – produce invoice, processing and recording bank receipts and issue of debtor statements, investigate and resolve debtor queries.
3. Bank reconciliations.
4. Credit cards reconciliations.
5. Credit control.
6. General ledger and Cash Book.
7. Stock Maintenance – monthly stock take and end of month stock reconciliation.
8. Other ad-hoc finance duties as and when required.
Eligibility criteria:
9. Min 3+ years’ experience working as part of a busy finance team.
10. IATI qualification part of fully qualified (or equivalent) – preferable.
11. Practical knowledge of computerised accounts packages (Sage Line 50 Essential).
12. High level of expertise in use of Microsoft Excel.
13. Processing high volume of invoices.
14. Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines and workload.
15. Ability to use own initiative and work to strict deadlines.
16. Strong planning and organising skills.
17. Good numeracy and time management skills.
18. Keen eye for detail.
The ideal individual will have current or previous experience within a similar role.
