Overview
A client of Sheret Energy Offshore is seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development and Marketing Executive to join their team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or a professional with one to two years of business development and marketing experience who is eager to grow within the offshore sector.
The successful candidate will play a key role in building brand awareness, generating business opportunities, and ensuring the company is well-positioned within the offshore market. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams, external marketing partners, and key industry stakeholders to support the company’s growth and visibility globally.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
* Ensure the company is widely recognised and respected within the offshore sector.
* Identify and proactively pursue opportunities aligned with the company’s core service offerings.
* Build strong, lasting relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry leaders to ensure continued market visibility.
Sales and Opportunity Generation
* Conduct market research to identify new business prospects, growth areas, and emerging trends.
* Maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed revenue targets.
* Lead outreach activities, including calls, meetings, and industry networking.
* Represent the company at key industry events, exhibitions, and forums.
Event Coordination and Representation
* Identify and map out key industry events and exhibitions where the company should be represented.
* Support planning, preparation of materials, and coordination for event attendance.
* Follow up with key contacts made during events to maximise opportunities.
Marketing Campaigns and Coordination
* Collaborate with internal and external marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and online content strategies.
* Develop tailored marketing materials, presentations, and proposal documents.
* Enhance the company’s digital presence through working with partners on online campaigns, and strategic marketing initiatives.
Proposal and Tender Support
* Assist in the preparation of tenders, proposals, and client quotations.
* Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposals meet client requirements and deadlines.
Client Relationship Management
* Act as a primary point of contact for new and existing clients, ensuring timely and professional responses.
* Build and nurture relationships to promote long-term client retention and satisfaction.
* Provide support throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
CRM and Reporting
* Maintain accurate client interaction records and sales activities within the company’s CRM system.
* Provide regular performance reports and insights to management on sales, client feedback, and market trends.
Person Specification
Qualifications and Experience
* A recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is beneficial but not essential.
* Full UK Driving Licence
Skills and Competencies
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in client interactions.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks.
* Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with familiarity in CRM software being advantageous.
* Strong presentation and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders effectively.
Knowledge
* Interest or understanding of the offshore and technical services sector.
* Familiarity with digital marketing, lead generation, and event management is a plus.
