Despite our success and growing reputation, we pride ourselves on our small business mentality and we’re open to the right individual to join our team in a business development account manager role. Our Managing Director and owner started in the same role earlier in their career and is still very close to the sales team’s efforts day to day. It’s what they love most – so there’s also an opportunity to work really closely with our business leaders and learn from the best.
You won’t just be another number, you’ll work closely with a senior member of the team day to day and ideally become an essential member of the company as you help us grow the business, as you grow yourself. We’d like nothing more than you to progress from this position and expand our market presence across the country.
As well as supporting our existing client base, we’ll look for you to introduce our services to a targeted selection of new customer prospects – securing new clients that see value in our managed print services.
You’ll achieve this via the right blend of telephone, email and social media engagement, as well as face to face engagement with a field-based element to the role. We’re passionate about meeting our customers and building relationships the old-fashioned way.
We’re investing in a market leading CRM system to help you work towards your targets and manage your daily workload as effectively as possible. We’ll also help you along the way with relevant training depending on your skillset.
About you
You don’t have to know anything about managed print – most of our team didn’t when they started. We’re more focused on your ability to engage potential customers and keep our current ones happy too!
As such, we are expecting you’ll be able to bring some demonstrable experience in a hybrid B2B (business to business) sales/business development position – engaging both remotely via telephone/email/social media, as well as face to face with current and new customers.
As the ideal candidate, you’ll be able to demonstrate a clear and structured approach to successfully building a client base in previous roles. We’re not looking to micromanage anyone in the business, so you’ll also be able to outline how you’ve worked autonomously to achieve your previous success.
It goes without saying you’ll carry a level of confidence and enthusiasm (and resilience) to engage consistently with new contacts who may have never heard of Evolve before, but you’ll be passionate to tell them all about how you can help them via our service offering.
The role really does benefit those with a longer-term relationship focus around sales and customer engagement. Our service model enables you to earn more and more commission, consistently over longer periods. Our incentive scheme truly enables the right person to achieve a 6 figure salary with longevity in the position.
Your role will be both office (Ipswich IP3) & field-based covering East Anglia (and possibly surrounding areas). We are offering a competitive basic salary, commission, company car, mobile, company pension and 25 days annual leave.
