We are currently recruiting for a superb new opportunity for HR Business Partner with one of our multinational aviation clients based in Shannon, Co. Please make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.
Position will report to Global HR Director and include responsibility for supporting Company bases in Ireland, Europe and Asia. This is a maternity contract cover (specified purpose contract).
The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a wider team to support the business.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provide HR support, guidance and advice to both employees and managers.
2. Implement HR policies and guidelines to meet the needs of the business and to ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
3. Support recruitment, selection and interviewing process.
4. Conduct inductions with new starters.
5. Conduct exit interviews.
6. Handle employee relations issues.
7. Support effective communication and engagement.
8. Conduct investigations and disciplinaries.
9. Implement any organizational changes including promotions, roles reporting lines etc.
10. Support talent development.
11. Ensure all HR administrative records are complete and accurately maintained.
12. Update system to ensure accuracy of data.
13. Weekly and monthly HR reporting.
14. Assist with payroll processing.
15. Support managers and teams to ensure high levels of performance are achieved and to develop their capabilities for the future needs of the business.
16. Other ad hoc responsibilities / projects.
Education and/or Experience
University diploma within Human Resources or equivalent within CIPD. Minimum three years previous experience within HR in a similar position.
Competencies
1. Good working knowledge of employment legislation.
2. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with HR Information Systems, databases and HR metrics.
3. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build working relationships at all levels.
4. Ability to work alone whilst being part of a wider team.
5. A pragmatic approach, good analytical skills and results orientated.
6. Experience of process improvement an advantage.
7. Fluent in English.
