The Role
To lead and direct CPC’s internal IT, Digital and Data product, services and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage and evolve all aspects related to CPC’s internal IT, Digital and Data product, services and capabilities.
* Lead the IT, Digital and Data Team and develop its skills, capabilities and the service it delivers to support the operations of CPC.
* Provide high quality internal IT, Digital and Data products and services and, where possible, enable CPC colleagues to support their customers’ technology innovation.
* Develop and implement an internal IT, Digital and Data strategy for CPC, continuing to evolve the role of IT, Digital and Data services as an enabler to support CPC’s value propositions.
* Develop a roadmap of IT, Digital and Data products and services to deliver the agreed strategy.
* Drive CPC ambition to be a systems’ compliant, digital first and data led enterprise.
* Manage existing systems and lead the development of new projects from inception through to delivery into a production environment.
* Ensure IT, Digital and Data change is based on, and assesses, the needs of users within the context of their business environment.
* Set direction, pace and provide clarity for CPC’s priorities to devise and implement an effective solution of a single platform/CRM platform; build and accelerate existing work including scoping the business requirements and delivering system change.
* Ensure an ethos of equity, inclusivity and diversity underpin your work activity, contribute to inclusive innovation across all Catapult activities.
* You may be required to undertake any other reasonable duties to support the Catapult in achieving its strategic outcomes and ensure effective business operations.
Required Skills and Experience
* Have led significant technology (digital and IT) services for complex organisations, with appreciation of how technology solutions drive customer and wider stakeholder delivery and relationships.
* Excellent IT management as demonstrated by the minimum SFIA skills Level 6.
* Experience in innovation in digital technology, AI or related sectors.
* Experience of ‘Microsoft First’ environments to maximise interoperability with current tools and collaboration approaches, based on in depth knowledge of Microsoft products and services.
* Demonstrable experience leading on high value, highly complex projects, ensuring successful delivery within time, cost and quality parameters.
* Able to build and deliver a sophisticated road map of IT and Digital delivery aligned with and driving the organisation’s wider business strategy.
* Excellent partnering and interpersonal skills to act as a single point of contact for senior business stakeholders in relation to full range of technology services.
* Able to drive continuous improvement of services across the organisation from contract to tools (and deliver improvement projects from inception to completion).
* Highly collaborative working style and experience of dealing and influencing diverse internal and external stakeholders; including Boards, Suppliers, Partners and internal leadership, and with the ability to enable and gain commitment.
* Previous experience in operationalising strategic organisational objectives and managing business units and teams towards achievement of those goals.
* Previous experience managing a budget and P&L for a department with the capability to understand and interpret management information for business decision-making.
* Strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills to ensure you are driving and engaging your team to meet Catapult and team objectives, cascading as appropriate.
* Working with your teams to proactively develop their capabilities and skill sets.
* Leading by example and being a champion of the Catapult when engaging with stakeholders.
