Weekend Physiotherapist Vale Hospital | Physiotherapy | Permanent | Part-Time Weekends | Up to £38,500 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience 24.5 hours per week Are you an experienced Physiotherapist? Due to an increased workload of our orthopaedics caseload both in the week and over the weekends, we now have an opportunity for a Physiotherapist at our Vale Hospital. Our expert physiotherapists are here to rehabilitate patients to optimal functional recovery following surgery. The role will be one day per week in Outpatients seeing post-operative orthopaedic patients and 2 days as part of the Inpatient team treating these patients immediately after surgery. The 2 days within the Inpatient team will require working Saturday each week. The hospital is brilliantly placed to support and mentor the successful candidate for this role, alongside our academy training programs. As a Physiotherapist, you will: See a wide range of pre and post surgery patients undertaking orthopaedic or gynaecology surgery. Cover Inpatient caseload. Work within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, AHPS and consultants in order to optimise the health and recovery of our patients. What are we looking for in our Physiotherapists? We require a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and you'll be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Be able to demonstrate evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner. Be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals. Be able to demonstrate excellent manual therapy skills.
