Kingdom Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team at an NHS hospital in Macclesfield.
As a Registered General Nurse (RGN), you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, such as wards, clinics, and the community.
You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, healthcare assistants, and therapists, to deliver patient-centred care that meets their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
Responsibilities:
1. Assess patients' physical and mental health, develop care plans, and implement them in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Evaluate care plan effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to meet patients' needs.
2. Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitor patient response, and report any adverse reactions.
3. Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Assess patients' pain levels and provide appropriate pain management interventions.
4. Communicate with patients and their families regarding care and treatment plans. Provide emotional support and answer any questions they may have.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting any changes in condition, medications, or treatments.
6. Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
7. Provide health education to patients and their families on disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and self-care.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Valid in-date Nursing and Midwifery Council's membership: You must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and have an in-date membership.
2. At least 6 months' experience working as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) in the UK.
3. Valid UK visa that permits you to work as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) in the UK.
4. Vaccinations: You must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tuberculosis, and COVID-19.
5. Desirable but not mandatory - Car driver: A valid car driving licence is desirable but not mandatory.
6. Valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate.
7. DBS certificate registered on the DBS update service.
