What you'll do
As the Product Content Lead at Sainsbury's, within the Argos Ecommerce division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality product content and imagery across various General Merchandise and Home categories. Your accountability encompasses launching products on multiple websites, such as Argos.co.uk and Habitat.co.uk, overseeing the successful launch of several thousand products annually. Working closely with the offshore Digital Operations Centre (DOC), you will develop and execute a content strategy to enhance the user experience and facilitate customers in discovering, finding, and selecting the right products. Stakeholder management and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key in delivering the category content strategy and achieving business objectives. Your expertise in product content, SEO, a mobile-first approach, and attention to detail will drive the re-establishment of product content quality and creation of a consistent brand identity. Additionally, your focus will be on building efficient operational processes, coaching and developing the Product Content Teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimise the customer experience and key business metrics.

With your extensive experience in online retail, you possess a deep understanding of product content and SEO, allowing you to develop and deliver comprehensive content plans. Your strong planning, organisational, and communication skills enable you to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, build relationships, and influence decision-making. As a critical thinker with a keen eye for detail, you consistently strive for continuous improvement, utilising data insights and analytics to optimise key business metrics and enhance the customer journey. Your ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to change, and lead projects in a fast-paced environment sets you apart in delivering successful product content strategies and driving positive change within the digital landscape.
