We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the product lifecycle strategy and cross-functional project delivery of a confidential, collectable vehicle programme. This is a unique opportunity to work on a low-volume, high-impact launch, requiring strong stakeholder management, a technical mindset, and customer-first thinking.
The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for defining and communicating product positioning, managing option portfolios, and driving delivery milestones across Sales & Marketing functions. A strong understanding of the automotive environment—combined with experience in programme delivery and product marketing—is key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Product Definition & Positioning
Conduct and coordinate market research to define compelling, brand-aligned products.
Provide insight and input to the product development process, based on customer needs and market positioning.
Work collaboratively across Product Planning, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure a unified vision.
Lifecycle Planning
Analyse current and future market performance to guide strategic decisions.
Monitor technology trends and competitive activity to inform feature planning and product evolution.
Implement lifecycle strategies that support business volume and revenue goals.
Options Portfolio Management
Define and manage the options strategy across model lines, regions, and accessory portfolios.
Ensure accurate implementation of feature content across the business.
Align pack and pricing strategy to financial targets, working closely with Finance, Aftersales, and other commercial teams.
Product Communication & Launch
Translate technical and customer insights into clear, differentiated product messaging.
Collaborate with internal teams to roll out positioning and support marketing campaigns.
Contribute to the development of training and sales materials for internal and dealer use.
Programme Delivery
Act as the Sales & Marketing representative across cross-functional project teams.
Take ownership of key deliverables within the Product Emergence Process (PEP).
Support senior stakeholder engagement and ensure a robust launch plan is delivered on time.
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong automotive background with demonstrable experience in product lifecycle management.
A customer-centric approach with a solid grasp of market behaviours and customer values.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence at senior levels.
High-level programme management and delivery experience in an automotive context.
Ability to analyse commercial and technical data and translate it into actionable strategy.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
Engineering knowledge or experience working closely with engineering teams.
Field experience in sales or dealer network interaction.
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, creative environments with tight deadlines.
Understanding of customer requirements and ability to represent the customer voice effectively.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Product Manager to make a direct impact on an exclusive vehicle programme, bringing together strategic vision, product knowledge, and commercial expertise. If you’re a proactive Senior Product Manager with strong cross-functional and project delivery skills, we’d love to hear from you
