About the role:
10. This role is home based with travel around Thames Valley when required
11. Demonstrate a good command of the English language both verbally and in writing.
12. Have a good understanding of Restorative Justice.
13. A clear understanding of the criminal justice journey of both Victims and Offenders
14. The ability to assess, update and mitigate risk including risk information held by partner agencies
15. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
16. Understand Safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues
17. Maintaining professional boundaries.
18. Knowledge and understanding of the requirement for confidentiality and safe working practices, maintaining records in accordance with the Data Protection Act and other legal requirements.
19. Experience of working within a multi-agency and legislative framework.
20. Experience of outcome focused working.
21. Experience of managing a complex caseload, to prioritise work and deal with competing demands demonstrating an organised an methodical approach to work
22. Experience of delivering training or presenting
23. Delivery of Restorative Justice practice including direct and indirect processes
24. Completion of relevant, accredited RJ training, including serious and complex training
25. Have excellent communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals
26. Understand and be committed to equal opportunities and diversity and inclusion issues in policy and practice
27. Demonstrate the ability to use IT applications competently including, Microsoft Word, Excel etc. and Case Management systems in order to keep accurate records and monitoring your performance
