Payroll Advisor, Widnes, Office Based, £25-30K depending upon experience An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the busy payroll team within a progressive, well established firm of Chartered Accountants. We are a well-established and well-known accountancy firm within the Widnes area and beyond. With a great reputation and an impressive, varied portfolio of clients. This role offers the opportunity for growth and progression for the right candidate. This is a full-time, permanent position. Reporting to the Payroll Manager your key responsibilities include: Processing end-end payroll for multiple client portfolio Statutory payments including; SSP, SMP etc; Liaising with HMRC and year-end reporting Providing payroll advice and solutions to clients and supporting with queries Maintain and update payroll records on Sage Manual calculations Keep up to date with payroll legislation The ideal candidate will have; Experience of working within a Payroll Bureau environment and experience of processing multiple client payrolls Understanding of Sage payroll software (desirable not essential) 2-3 years payroll experience - minimum of 1 year Strong knowledge of current payroll legislation. Ability to work in a team as well as independently This is a fantastic chance to join our growing team.
