* Present BBC Radio Scotland's live hourly news bulletins Friday to Sunday inclusive, in a manner which is timely, accurate, impartial and engaging.
* You will have excellent writing skills, knowing how to write engaging top lines, ensuring all content is of the highest editorial standard.
* Liaise closely with all BBC News Departments to ensure material is shared and best practice upheld.

A clear authoritative broadcasting voice with prior experience of live news broadcasting.

BBC Radio Scotland is looking for an experienced journalist who also has extensive live broadcasting experience to join the Radio News Bulletins Desk working Friday to Sunday inclusive on an early/late shift pattern. BBC Radio Scotland's news output sets the agenda for the country. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of BBC Scotland's news operation and would suit someone with an interest in politics, cultural life, domestic and foreign news to shape the news agenda.
