They work in the Commercial, Retail and Residential markets. They offer the following services: Planned Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Maintenance Re-active M&E and Building Fabric Maintenance Design and Build Fit Out They also maintain your Engineering plant, equipment and services, building fabric internally and externally including the roof. They design, build and maintain the valuable space in which you work within a building. Job Description They are seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the financial and contractual management of construction projects, with a focus on cost control, compliance, and efficiency. You will work closely with the business owner to ensure that projects are completed within budget and to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities: Ensure project costings are managed and met in line with budgets and project plans. Ensure compliance with project requirements and contractual obligations. Agree and manage variations, ensuring all changes are documented and accounted for. Process claims and payments in accordance with contract terms. Produce and manage detailed costing reports, tracking expenditure and forecasting costs. Consider Environmental Assessment Methods (e.g., BREEAM) when selecting suppliers and agreeing product/material costs. Review, prepare, and issue Forecast Final Account (Cost Report). Prepare and submit final accounts upon project completion, ensuring all financial aspects are accurately reconciled. Requirements Essential: Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry. Experience in performing Estimating duties will be hugely advantageous. Relevant qualification (A-Level, HND, NVQ, or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field). Strong mathematical skills with a high level of accuracy. Excellent organizational and administrative abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
