The Role
Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Do you want to use your wealth of HR experience to make a real difference? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you!
At Cofton, we don't just speak about the importance of our team – we genuinely believe it! We know our team sits at the core of our business, and our People team sits at the heart of their experience. We are therefore growing our People team! This is a new role which will work alongside our Head of People & Culture.
We are all truly passionate about ensuring our team members have a fantastic experience with us; and we are searching for an individual who shares in this passion, someone who is excited about the collective accomplishments that can be achieved by a strong HR team. In this role, you'll take charge of the day-to-day activities of HR, meaning you must have a solid understanding of employee legislation, employee relations, compliance, recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, and all the typical challenges encountered within an HR department. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential, coupled with a genuine desire to engage with our managers and create good working relationships.
We will give you full training and support, but there are a few things we ask for:
* Previous experience in a similar HR advisor role
* CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
* Strong HR and ER knowledge, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and competence in IT and HR systems
* Proven first-line HR advisory experience and supporting across multi-disciplines within a business
* Friendly and professional, with a proactive and flexible approach
* An understanding of monthly payroll within a permanent and casual environment
* A good attention to detail to assist our HR administrator in keeping all records up to date and accurate
* Approachable with a solution-focused attitude
* This is a full-time role and will be based at our holiday park
Join us in creating an exceptional working environment and become part of a team where your contributions truly matter. We can't wait to meet you!
