You will be part of a strong and passionate multi-disciplinary public health team, who have the aim of improving health and well-being and reducing health inequalities for the local populations across South Tees.
Public Health South Tees are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our health protection team as a Health Improvement Support Officer for Public Health.
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering the health protection agenda, supporting the delivery of several projects. Working as part of a small team, you must be able to demonstrate excellent collaborative working, with great communication skills, creative thinking and problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude. You will have great organisational skills and be willing to learn exciting new public health skills.
The post holder’s workplace will be in central Middlesbrough, but opportunities may arise to work from other council buildings and occasional working from home (subject to business need).
Training will be provided where necessary and excellent progression routes are available.
