About the Role
* Position: Band Coach (Rock and Pop Music Teacher)
* Hours: Monday - Friday, daytime only
* Travel: 45p per business mile travelled, plus access to a motor assistance program
* Holiday: 10 weeks fully paid school holidays
* Salary: £26,000 p/a
* Location: Based in Bury St Edmunds, this role involves teaching at multiple schools within the surrounding areas. Travel to schools outside of this area may be required. You must have a full UK driving license and car.

What You'll Do
* Deliver Rock and Pop Band Sessions: Teach groups of children at up to 10 primary schools per week.
* Teach Multiple Instruments in a Band Setting: Show children how to play drums, keyboard, guitar, or vocals (ability to play at least two is required for the role).
* Foster Relationships: Build strong connections with parents, schools, and the wider community.
* Performances: Help pupils shine in their first live performances in front of an audience.
* Administrative Duties: Handle daily administrative tasks (about 30 minutes per day).
* Certify Students: Work within the RSL structure to help children achieve an entry-level qualification.
* Active Role: Engage in a physically active role, including the loading and unloading of musical equipment, ensuring everything is ready for each session.
* Summer Camps: Participate in running our exciting holiday club two weeks a year during the holiday periods.
What We're Looking For
* Musical Talent: Ability to play at least two of the following: drums, keyboard, guitar, or vocals, with a good all-round musical knowledge.
* Driving: You will need a valid driving license and access to your own car.
* Organisational Skills: Strong organisation and IT skills to manage your schedule and tasks effectively.
* Passion and Confidence: A confident individual who loves music and can build positive relationships with both adults and children.
* Reliability: Dependable and committed to providing consistent, high-quality music education.
* Communication Skills: Excellent at building relationships and communicating effectively with both children and adults.
