Description Job Description Do you have experience of supporting internal and external partners and stakeholders in close partnership to deliver shared goals and outcomes? An opportunity has arisen within the Transport Scotland Sponsorship Hub for a B2 Sponsor Official. The Hub is currently responsible for the sponsorship of three public bodies (Scottish Canals, Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd and David MacBrayne Ltd) as they deliver services vital to Scotland’s Island communities whilst supporting economic activity and tourism. The Sponsor Official will support the Hub team and the public bodies to deliver the sponsor function. The role will contribute to delivering Ministerial objectives for our public bodies and providing assurance that they are high performing organisations and delivering value for money. Responsibilities Supporting sponsor hub managers to work with internal and external stakeholders relating to a range of sponsorship activities (e.g. working with Transport Scotland sponsored bodies, SG Public Appointment Unit, SG Public Sector Pay Policy, SG Public Bodies Unit). Coordinating meetings involving Sponsor Hub, Public Bodies, Ministers, engaging with Private Office as needed and recording accurate and concise minutes. Drafting of briefings for a rolling programme of meetings between Transport Scotland, Ministers, and Transport Scotland public bodies. Maintain a sponsor hub core brief and drafting of PQs and Mi-Cases, FoIs etc, ensuring they are high quality, concise and accurate. Supporting Grant in Aid processes for sponsor hub public bodies to include, annual budget allocation, processing of invoices, grant payments and expenses. Ensuring sponsor hub corporate documents and dashboards are kept up to date, seeking input from hub Managers, to feed into Transport Scotland reporting and assurance processes. To act flexibly to support the sponsor hub on a range of potential ad hoc requests, as and when they arise.
