As an Audit Assistant Manager you will:
1. Plan audit engagements and lead onsite teams (80% of time).
2. Prepare accounts and draft tax computations (20% of time).
3. Liase with clients to resolve any queries, escalating more complex matters to manager/partner.
4. Review team members' work before passing completed file to manager.
5. Coach juniors and provide feedback on the quality of their work and performance.
6. Control assignment time in line with pre-determined budget.
As an Audit Assistant Manager you will need:
1. A professional accounting qualification – ACA, ICAS, CA, or ACCA (minimum criteria).
2. Experience of planning and leading external audits (minimum criteria).
3. Knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102.
4. Client-facing experience.
5. Experience of audit software (we use Caseware) and Microsoft packages.
