We are now looking for an experienced RIBA Architect to join our talented team of professionals to work on diverse and exciting projects.
Role Overview:
As an RIBA Architect at WBC Group, you will play a key role in leading the design and delivery of various projects, from concept through to completion. You will collaborate with clients, contractors, and a dynamic team of architects surveyors and engineers to create innovative and sustainable designs that meet our clients' needs. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of project types, including commercial, residential, and public sector developments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead architectural design projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality and innovative design solutions.
* Produce detailed design drawings, specifications, and schedules in line with RIBA Plan of Work stages.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
* Ensure projects adhere to local planning regulations, building codes, and sustainability practices.
* Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
* Contribute to the preparation of bids, proposals, and presentations to secure new business.
* Mentoring junior team members and providing guidance on design and technical matters.
* Participate in design reviews and team meetings to ensure continuous improvement and high standards of work.
Skills & Qualifications:
* RIBA/ARB registered Architect with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.
* Strong portfolio demonstrating design creativity, technical expertise, and project delivery.
* Excellent knowledge of building regulations, planning laws, and sustainable design practices.
* Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural design software.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
