We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team. Duties
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
* Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
* Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar environment is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
