What You Will Do
* Process referrals for DOLS assessments, adhering to statutory deadlines.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MCA-DOLS legislation and processes.
* Organize and coordinate multi-agency forums, producing accurate minutes and tracking actions.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including senior managers and healthcare professionals.
* Handle inquiries with sensitivity, providing advice and guidance to customers.
* Analyse data and produce statutory reports for various audiences.
* Maintain electronic and paper-based systems, ensuring data accuracy and security.
* Assist in the implementation and evaluation of processes and technology.
* Coordinate expense reimbursements for professional assessors.
* Adapt and design systems to support service delivery.
What You Will Bring
* Level 4 qualification or equivalent in a relevant area.
* Experience working in a business support environment.
* Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
* Experience servicing meetings, including accurate minute-taking at speed.
* Experience introducing new procedures.
* Experience presenting information verbally at meetings and briefings.
* Experience working in partnership with internal and external bodies.
* Good knowledge of national and local government policies.
* Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
* Knowledge of information governance, data protection, health and safety, and risk management.
* An awareness of people facing personal problems.
* General awareness of Mental Capacity Act/Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards legislation.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage a challenging workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
* Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
* Good analytical skills.
