Salary: Up to £80,000 (dependent on experience)

Dynamic (hybrid) working: Typically 4-5 days per week on-site (flexible depending on project needs)

Key Responsibilities
* Lead FPGA design teams, providing technical direction and support throughout the project lifecycle.
* Design and implement complex FPGA architectures using VHDL, Simulink, and other industry-standard tools.
* Work with Xilinx, Intel, and Microsemi FPGA devices to create optimised solutions for advanced systems.
* Verify FPGA implementations using VHDL and System Verilog/UVM test-bench methodologies to ensure robustness and performance.
* Use FPGA design toolsets (e.g., Mentor verification tools, QuestaSim, ModelSim) to verify designs and ensure accuracy.
* Develop low-level software (C) to facilitate FPGA testing and integration with wider embedded systems.
* Maintain a high standard of design documentation and configuration management, ensuring designs are thoroughly detailed and aligned with industry best practices.
* Promote collaboration and drive a culture of continuous improvement within your team, ensuring successful, on-time delivery of project milestones.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven leadership experience in FPGA design, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
* Extensive experience in designing complex FPGA systems using VHDL, Simulink, and other design tools.
* In-depth knowledge of FPGA architectures, targeting Xilinx, Intel, and Microsemi devices.
* Expertise in verification methodologies, including the use of VHDL and System Verilog/UVM.
* Familiarity with FPGA design toolsets and verification tools such as QuestaSim and ModelSim.
* Ability to develop low-level software (C) for FPGA integration and testing.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to configure and document designs to a high professional standard.
