Your role will involve investigating and resolving problems, as well as providing essential information about our systems and infrastructure. You'll be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our network and server infrastructure, identifying any errors or faults that may arise. In addition, you'll provide advice and training to users about an application's functionality, correct operation, or constraints. This may involve devising workarounds, correcting faults, making general or site-specific modifications, updating system documentation, manipulating data, or defining enhancements. Developing a deep understanding of the IT systems used within Warburtons is crucial to your success in this role. You'll also be tasked with resolving incidents and problems, including documenting root causes and implementing remedies. Proactive monitoring and raising improvement suggestions will be part of your daily routine, as well as highlighting and implementing process and system improvements. Integrating new or enhanced products and services into the business is another key aspect of the role. This includes providing input into the design of hardware, network, and security elements. You'll be responsible for maintaining and updating various systems, managing roll-outs, upgrades, and implementations. Finally, you'll have the opportunity to be involved in various projects, contributing your expertise and ensuring that our IT infrastructure continues to support the business effectively. Essential Ingredients Solid experience in IT infrastructure architecture, with a deep understanding of processes, applications, and server infrastructure. Familiarity with Incident and Problem Management processes. Comfortable using tools like SolarWinds, Microsoft 365 Admin, Citrix Admin Console, Control Up, VMware Vcentre, Hyper V manager and Windows Server performance tools. Understanding of tools used in IT management infrastructure projects, such as issues logs, risk registers, change databases, and CMDBs. Articulate, with the ability to express views clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Ability to keep people engaged and on board with future changes. Strong relationship-building skills, establishing credibility with both internal and external contacts at a senior level. Customer-focused, always considering the impact on ITs customers when changes to IT services are made. Takes into account the risks and wider implications of decisions.
