We are currently seeking an ambitious, creative, and professional Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team and amaze customers with your excellent cooking skills according to the chef's recipes and specifications.
Your work will be especially important for our customers' satisfaction and excellent culinary experience.
Responsibilities of the Chef De Partie:
1. Take care of daily food preparations and duties assigned by the Head Chef.
2. Follow the instructions and recommendations from the Head Chef to complete daily tasks.
3. Ensure that the produce and presentation are of the highest quality.
4. Have full awareness of the whole menu, its recipes, and presentation standards.
5. Follow good preservation standards for the proper handling of food.
6. Suggest new ways of presenting dishes.
7. Ensure adequate levels of supplies and report any shortages immediately.
8. Follow the directions of the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
9. Be personally responsible for your own hygiene, safety, and correct use of equipment.
10. Report any malfunctions with the equipment immediately.
11. Work closely with colleagues ensuring effective communication and a friendly working environment.
12. Ensure stock rotation, expiry dates, and proper storage of items.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Chef De Partie.
2. Outstanding use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and processes.
3. Ability to multitask.
4. Ability to work well under pressure.
5. Excellent time management skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Knowledge of the best and latest cooking skills.
8. Culinary cooking qualifications.
