As a Conveyancing Secretary, you will play a pivotal role in providing administrative support to the conveyancing team, handling essential tasks to ensure smooth operations.
You will be responsible for:
1. Audio and copy typing, along with preparing contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documents.
2. Utilising the Land Registry portal
3. Managing client communications both in person and over the phone
4. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., CML, CQS, SRA, anti-money laundering)
What we are looking for:
1. Previously worked as a Conveyancing Secretary, Legal Secretary or in a similar role.
2. Experience in a fast-paced conveyancing environment.
3. Understanding of MS Word (track changes, document formatting) and Outlook would be preferred.
4. Valid UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
