Salary and Benefits
SALARY: Opportunity to earn in excess of £50,000 (Base depends on experience, plus supplements)

What You’ll Be Doing as a Fire Commissioning Engineer
1. Commission and manage new and existing installations and modifications to existing systems in full compliance with the current edition of the relevant British Standards.
2. Liaise with the sub-contractor to ensure that the correct installation practices have been used, as required.
3. Attend coordination meetings with specific projects to ensure commissioning is performed within the contract time scales and agreed specification.
What We Would Like You To Bring
1. A good understanding of the British standards – 5839 parts 1 to 9, 5266 and 7273.
2. A methodical approach to problem solving.
3. A can-do attitude, being self-motivated to find solutions.
4. Fire Detection & Alarm Systems experience, including programming and operating a wide range of analogue addressable control panels and the associated detection devices.
