Role: Education Support Worker
Location: Full-time, term time only
Hours: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday
Salary: £14.45 - £15.20 per hour

About The School:
This specialist provision supports students aged 11 - 16 who have been excluded from school or are at risk of exclusion. With a focus on core subjects, vocational training and alternative learning, the school helps students build confidence, resilience and the skills they need for a brighter future.
Your Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 mentoring, supporting students both academically and emotionally
* Assist with personalised timetables, including off-site activities such as outdoor education and vocational training.
* Foster a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment, prioritising student wellbeing
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with EHCPs
* Build strong relationships with students, staff and parents/carers
Who We’re Looking For:
* Experience in education, youth work, coaching or support roles (minimum 3 months child based experience in the UK, including voluntary work)
* Proactive, resilient and enthusiastic, with a passion for helping young people thrive
* Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage students
* Adaptable and flexible - every day presents new challenges and opportunities
* Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a car for off-site activities
