What you will do:
Hitachi Heating and Cooling Solutions UK&IRE are focusing on the growth of the business and looking for a sales manager to create long-term trusting relationships with our customers. This will be through the development of close relationships with installing contractors, consultants, M&E companies and end user clients. The primary role is to drive sales of our VRF, Chiller and Heating systems into the HVAC market through direct sales with contractors and a strong share of specification led project work through consultants. This regional role covers the North of England, with a particular focus on the Manchester, Liverpool, and Leeds areas.

How you will do it:
11. Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
12. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
13. Provide design and application advice to customers promoting energy efficient solutions for their projects
14. Work closely with customers to negotiate contracts / projects and close agreements to maximise profits
15. Develop new business opportunities with existing clients and / or identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets
16. Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
17. A proactive introduction of our product portfolio in order to assist in the decision-making process for clients i.e., provide run cost calculations, co2 calculations, installation requirements, features and benefits etc.
18. Present to customers covering the features and benefits of our product portfolio, CPD’s and other subjects such as legislation requirements
What we look for:
19. Min. 4 years technical experience with HVAC
20. Design and application experience in air conditioning, chillers, heating and control systems with the ability to guide clients through design concepts as necessary
21. Knowledge and understanding of current legislation
22. Experience of presenting on both power point and system training to customers
23. An ability to multitask several client requests at the same time.
24. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
25. Able to use own initiative and high level of personal organisation.
26. IT literate – good background of utilising Excel, PowerPoint, CRM – Salesforce and Outlook.
27. Attributes: Enthusiastic, structured, methodical, self-motivated.
