An excellent opportunity has arisen in Kent Children and Young People's Mental Heath Service for a PA position. You will work together with the Strategic Clinical Lead for Kent and Medway providing support when needed and together with other Administrators. You will be an excellent communicator and have the ability to prioritise your workload ensuring that work is completed in a safe and timely manner. You will possess excellent administrative skills and good working relationships with colleagues.
The main responsibilities of the post:
Provide a high quality confidential and comprehensive administrative service.
Manage the diary and make decisions on behalf of the Strategic Clinical Lead for Kent and Medway and re-arranging diary commitments.
Work flexibly and without supervision to ensure urgent situations are addressed swiftly.
Preparing agenda, typing up minutes and following up on actions at leadership meetings.
Flexibility to travel across Kent to attend meetings as requested.
Open and sort incoming emails and other post in a timely manner, and where appropriate, personally prepare and send responses to correspondence.
Operate bring forward and reminder systems.
Undertake word processing of all documents to a high standard, in an agreed Trust style and using an appropriate referencing system.
Utilise IT skills to create reports and presentations.
Collating audits/surveys when required
Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
Flexible with an innovative attitude which welcomes new ways of working
Probationary Period
This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
