Description
The Global Process Owner (GPO) for Employee Experience will be responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the end-to-end Employee Experience (on-boarding, off-boarding and internal moves) process across the organization. As a Director-level role, this position demands a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of Employee Experience processes and the ability to drive consistency, efficiency, and innovation across global operations. The GPO will work collaboratively with HR, IT, Shared Services, and other business stakeholders to deliver a seamless employee lifecycle experience from recruitment to retirement.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as a central point of contact for all Employee Experience related processes, ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective communication across departments.
* Partner with senior HR, IT, and Finance leaders to understand and support the changing needs of the workforce and business.
* Lead the Employee Experience process globally, establishing and enforcing best practices, standards, and KPIs to ensure consistency and efficiency.
* Define process objectives and key deliverables, maintaining alignment with the company's HR strategy and overall business goals.
* Develop, document, and maintain process guidelines, workflows, and procedures to support scalable and effective operations.
* Develop a roadmap for continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance the employee experience.
* Implement process improvements and leverage digital tools to streamline Employee Experience functions (recruitment, onboarding, career development, benefits administration, performance management, offboarding, etc.).
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and incorporate feedback to drive ongoing enhancements and innovation.
* Provide leadership and guidance to process teams, building a culture of excellence and fostering professional growth within the Employee Experience domain.
* Leverage analytics and reporting tools to measure process effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
* Regularly report on performance metrics to leadership, identifying trends, insights, and recommendations to improve the employee lifecycle experience.
* Ensure compliance with global regulations and internal policies related to data privacy, labor laws, and other Employee Experience related requirements.
* Partner with IT to assess and implement technology solutions that support the automation and scalability of Employee Experience processes.
* Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to Hire to Retire, guiding the integration of new tools and platforms that align with business goals.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM, PMP) preferred.
* Extensive experience in HR process ownership, ideally within a global organization.
* Proven expertise in Employee Experience processes and a strong understanding of HR best practices and regulatory requirements.
* Demonstrated experience in driving process transformation, optimization, and digital innovation within HR or shared services environments.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions and identify process improvements.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a track record of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels.
* Familiarity with HR systems and technologies (e.g., Sage, Pinpoint, Dynamics 365, etc.) is highly desirable.
