Application Requirements:
• Experience in a teaching assistant role, preferably within a primary school setting.
• Previous experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be highly advantageous.
• A relevant qualification in education or a teaching assistant course is beneficial but not essential.
• A passion for supporting children in their learning and development.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and adapt to different classroom settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support teachers in delivering lessons to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students, ensuring that students are fully engaged and their learning needs are met.
• Assist with small group interventions and one-on-one support for students requiring academic help.
• Work closely with SEN students, providing additional assistance tailored to their individual needs.
• Encourage positive behaviour and foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
• Help assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback to the teaching staff.
