Circet UK are seeking to recruit a Trainee Capacity Planner for Circet Home based in Selkirk, Scotland.
This role suits candidates with strong experience using excel and analyzing and understanding large amounts of data. No experience in planning is required, and full training will be provided.
Working with the Capacity Planners this role is essential for the effective planning of all resource in the field and delivery of targets to our client’s forecasts. Analysing reports and data to continually assess the effectiveness of our parameters, identifying issues that create inefficiencies and making suggestions for improvement. Liaising with our IT department to review, assess and test new software, processes and tools to manage and report back to the Operations and Stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Learning how to analysing reports daily to review performance
2. Maximise routes daily to cover the most jobs with minimum number of engineers
3. Keep mileage to a minimum to reduce fuel costs where possible
4. Look at unplanned jobs daily and work with the Field and to cover these
5. Set up and own processes to support current systems and meet targets
6. Maintain all systems up to date to meet business needs
7. Suggest improvements as required to ensure we are efficient
8. Liaise with Field Colleagues and Service Centre colleagues to highlight issues and make suggestions on the way forward
9. Provide daily reporting to stakeholders after review from CPS
10. Communicate with engineers/AOO’s to discuss routes as required
11. Raise system issues to IT Helpdesk or external parties
12. Setting calendars within parameters but maximising availability
13. Monitor scripts within the calendar setup with a view to maintain these once confident
14. Loading forecasts to client expectations and SLA’s after training
15. Reporting of SLA’s and utilisation to Operations and Stakeholders
16. Overseeing Workforce Optimisers output and coaching and developing where required
17. Identifying training needs within the team and proactively planning to cover gaps
18. Undertake additional external courses where required
Knowledge Requirements
19. GCSE grade or Scottish equivalent
20. Competent on Microsoft packages, particularly Excel. Confident in all WO duties, must be prepared to undertake additional training as required.
