Supply Teacher (SEND) Location: Maidstone Job Type: Long-term, Immediate Start We are seeking a dedicated Supply Teacher to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school located near Ashford. This role is ideal for a generalist teacher who is comfortable covering English and has a passion for working with 14-16 year olds with SEND needs. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across various subjects, with a focus on English. Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students. Maintain a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with other staff members to plan and coordinate lessons. Monitor and support the progress and development of students. Handle any classroom challenges with sensitivity and assertiveness. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in an SEND environment is highly desirable. Alternatively, substantial experience as a teacher with demonstrated empathy and understanding for students with SEND needs. Ability to drive, as commuting to the school may require a car.
