Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a well-established client in Newcastle who are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Working in a busy finance team, your duties will include:
1. Running end to end payroll processing for your own portfolio of clients
2. Completing manual calculations
3. Carrying out standard and non-standard payroll tasks in a timely manner
4. Taking responsibility for the data entry tasks and activities
5. Communicating clearly with other departments within the business
6. Providing support to senior colleagues
You will:
1. Have experience in running end to end payroll processing for your own portfolio of clients
2. Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
3. Have experience of dealing with high volumes of work
4. Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to manage workload effectively and independently
5. Have the ability to complete manual calculations
6. Have strong Maths and English GCSE or equivalent qualification
7. Have good knowledge of payroll legislation
8. Have good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
9. Be a team player
10. Be proactive
