What skills and experience we're looking for
The Directors of the Blessed Edward Bamber Catholic Multi Academy Trust and the Governors of Sacred Heart are looking to appoint an inspirational practising Catholic who will be a supportive and courageous leader.
The right candidate will work closely with our Headteacher and will share our clear vision for the future. They will be proactive and encouraging, leading our focus of excellence for all and demonstrating resilience to continue to drive up standards of progress and attainment, whilst further developing our wider offer and enabling every child to reach their potential.
Sacred Heart is an average sized school which prides itself on its strong Catholic ethos and fully inclusive manner. Our mission statement ‘to love one another’ alongside our school values underpin everything we do and every decision we make.
Please visit our school website and our Facebook pages to see more about the work we all do.
In return we can offer you children who are enthusiastic and keen to learn. Working with our children, families and community is immensely rewarding.
We participate in every event locally, especially for sport, music, dance and drama. We help the children’s sporting skills, in a range of activities and sports, and encourage singing and drama through our shows, nativities and liturgies.
Our school provides a stimulating and safe environment where our children feel happy and secure. We ensure our children’s voice is central to all we do. Governors are supportive and appropriately challenging. They value greatly the work of all staff including the leadership team and support their wellbeing and development wholeheartedly.
Interested applicants are warmly invited and encouraged to visit the school by prior appointment through the school office.
Thank you for your interest in our school and we look forward to receiving your completed application.
